Technical Solution Architect

We design, produce and install more than 1,000 playground and fitness areas each month across 90 countries - corresponding to an installation every 44th minute. 

KOMPAN is a world leader in the industry and is now searching for an experienced and hands-on Technical Solution Architect with a flair for project management for our IT team, who is keen to work on many interesting and diverse projects. You will refer to our Group IT Director.  

Responsible for large IT projects
Over the coming years, we will initiate, continue and implement several large IT projects, where we need your skills and experience in data architecture, integrations, platforms and applications. Systems, you will be working with, include Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Business Central/NAV 2018, Power BI, DTS, SQL as well as web-based applications supporting our businesses and customers with Quoting tools, 3D planner, e-commerce and many others.  

You are experienced in technical project management, and you are excited to work with internal and external resources. You will ensure that the solutions that are developed live up to KOMPAN expectations and create value. 

You will formulate roll-out plans for many projects. You want to create results in cooperation with our team of committed and skilled colleagues, as you are also able to work independently. Through your ongoing project management work, you contribute to KOMPAN maintaining its position as not only the world’s largest but also most successful supplier in the global playground and outdoor fitness industry.

Key Tasks
Your most important areas of responsibility and tasks include: 

• Gathering requirements through process reviews with end users
• Managing your own projects and involving relevant stakeholders in the organization
• Participate in the transition of on-premise systems to online platforms
• Designing system architecture with a high focus on user experience
• Specifying requirements for our internal developer team
• Testing preparing for roll-out to end users
• Participating in training of end users

As we are an international company with many nationalities, it is important that you are fluent in English. 

Experience and technical background 
You have a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in working as a technical project manager, solution/integration architect, system developer or similar. You are driven and can manage more projects at a time. You are very structured and able to see the big picture. You are experienced in prioritizing tasks and keeping deadlines.  

You are skilled in creating relations and work across geographical and organizational borders. Also, it is important to you to work in a team that is highly committed, ambitious and have a great team spirit. We are a group of individualists who work really well together as a team on very exciting tasks depending on the competences you contribute with.
