Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for securing a strong handover of offshore wind projects from Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) to Operations, ensuring high yield, low cost, and high QHSE standards. The team have end-to-end responsibility for Operation’s engagement in the asset projects, securing requirements implementation and managing approval of deliverables throughout.

You’ll be part of our Operations Bid & Readiness team where you, together with your colleagues, will ensure the implementation of best practice process and governance across project scopes, working closely with all areas and levels of the project teams you work with. We’re a team of around 12 project managers working across all our offshore projects. As a team, we share knowledge and maintain a close collaboration to further ourselves and the business as a whole and we enjoy socialising and have an open feedback culture.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • ensuring Operations’ requirements are communicated and implemented during development of asset projects
  • leading the transfer process excellence of future wind farms and act as Operations’ focal point towards the asset project to secure successful transfer to Operations, managing acceptance of deliverables
  • communicating effectively with stakeholders and organise Operations’ resources to ensure efficient execution of the transfer process, providing progress reports in the agreed format
  • collaborating with the Asset Project team to ensure all deliverables from EPC are well-planned and tracked to facilitate on-time delivery with minimal incomplete works
  • working closely with the Operations team, incl. highlighting and mitigating potential business case risks.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • enjoy building working relationships with stakeholders across the organisation
  • have experience working with conflicting stakeholders to achieve a common goal
  • have project management experience, incl. resource and cost management, planning, scheduling, and reporting
  • have a self-driven, independent, and structured approach to your work, yet you can demonstrate the ability to work without a structure when required
  • are qualified to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline, or able to demonstrate equivalent expertise gained through experience.
