Technical Product Manager, Electronics

We are expanding our team of Technical Product Managers with a new colleague who, in close cooperation with other departments, will help us continuously ensure the quality and efficiency of our products and production.

You will be technically responsible for a selection of our products and will be part of a team of approx. 24 colleagues handling product responsibility and ensuring ongoing changes (new components, new functionalities and cost optimisations).  You will have many contacts in the company and, together with technical sales and quality department, have some contact with subsidiaries and suppliers. You will also be involved in development projects as a sparring partner for the development department. Therefore, it is important that you are structured and thrive in an environment with varied work tasks and many balls in the air.

Our team is part of the business unit Electronics, which, with its approx. 150 employees at the factory on the island of Als, is responsible for production and production maturing of print, electronics and control systems for LINAK products. We focus on innovation, LEAN and optimisation of complex products, production technologies and production processes.

Primary tasks

• Develop customised solutions based on existing products
• Carry out cost optimisations and quality optimisations including insourcing and outsourcing
• Carry out and document technical product optimisations and maintenance of these   
• Specify the test requirements for own and foreign production on the products
• Contribute to problem-solving in the production and in case of customer complaints
• Act as project manager on smaller projects such as new developments, optimisation and the like

• have mechanical understanding or interest

• are an independent and quality-conscious starter and finisher
• are outgoing, are good at working in teams and have a good mood
• speak and write English and Danish
