How to contribute to our vision
In this role, you become the focal point for the Onshore Direct Drive Platform, doing Technical facilitation of all maintenance engineering activities to ensure delivery of the complete maintenance package e.g., documents, tools, spare parts, maintenance plan, training, by triggering the deliveries of the different teams, and approval of the maintenance related deliverables. Thus, you provide the support, advice and insights that enable the Platform and project management teams to drive up performance on their portfolio and services.
In doing so, you secure the execution of the tasks within our maintenance related jobs, and you:

Act as a proactive partner for Platform Management on portfolio matters, becoming a respected and trusted technical advisor within developing and maintaining the product

Use practical and hands-on knowledge of the systems to carry out design reviews and prioritizing the development of the instructions & tools, based on critical issues identified through experience and design reviews.

Support the DFMEA process to ensure transfer of mitigation actions to all the relevant stakeholders. Approve the mitigations in the DFMEA.

Support the DRA process to ensure transfer of mitigation actions to all the relevant stakeholders. Approve the mitigations in the DRA and HoC of high residual risks.

Ensure continuously throughout the whole lifetime of the product, to improve the maintainability of the platform, always with an eye on safety and profitability.

Support platform owners in relation to technical risks and ensure all maintenance related documentation for the platform.

Delivery of OPEX / CAPEX calculations in order to influence the design for maintainability with support from SE stakeholders.

Proactive identification of improvement opportunities on maintenance related issues.

Participation in the L2 global and L3 fleet support, initiation of maintenance packages and approval of the conclusions and output, to identify repetitions, patterns and root causes behind the incoming cases and feeding back into the process owners and new development Platforms with a knowledge sharing mentality.

To succeed in this position, you need to be able to collaborate broadly within Service Technology. Moreover, you will act as a facilitator in the new product development process. Thus, you need to understand the business rules driving us as well as the reports and systems used in the organization. Therefore, it is crucial that you have a proven record of working well with cross-functional teams in an international company, so that you can focus on your mission rather than on learning how to navigate. Additionally, you have worked with product development, so you understand the complex workings and roles.
Moreover, our future colleague has a bachelor’s degree within Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar, giving you excellent analytical skills and a broad business knowledge.
As a person you have a high degree of personal integrity and an ability to work in changing environments and on multiple projects simultaneously. In addition, we expect our new Technical Product Manager to speak and write English effortlessly and it is a plus if you know Danish on a beginner level
