Then you might be the Technical Lead and Pipeline Specialist we are looking for.
Evida is in the process of planning, developing, and building a CO2 infrastructure in Denmark. We leverage our strong competencies in operating the existing methane gas network at the same time as we develop entirely new ways of working when it comes to pipeline CO2. Therefore, you will head the development of new technical skills and knowledge together with our strong team working with CO2.
Reporting to our Technical Director you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the delivery of multi-disciplinary technical work in support to sales and construction activities. As a Pipeline Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the delivery of technical projects within the discipline. The main target of the role is to deliver to operation an asset and supporting digital solutions that meets the functional specification.
Our CO2 programme consists of around 20 specialists, Business Developers, and technicians - all of whom are working together on major CO2 projects primarily in Denmark. This role is based at our office at Evidas CO2 office in Copenhagen.
Your responsibilites as Technical Lead:
- Collaborate with experts to define and implement functional specifications for assets and applications, troubleshoot issues, and create new products.
- Motivate staff, foster open communication, and promote continuous learning from both successes and failures.
As Technical Lead your project focus until end of 2025 will be:
- Providing technical support to tender management in stakeholder meetings
- Responsibility for interface management with the clients in close collaboration with Tender Management and Project Management
- Overseeing and coordinating the delivery of technical documentation for Indicative Offers
Your responsibilities as Pipeline Specialist:
- Collaborate with experts to define and implement functional specifications for assets and applications, troubleshoot issues, and create new products.
- Apply agile work practices.
Until end of 2025 your focus as a Pipeline Specialist will be:
- Functional Design Specifications for pipeline design and construction for liquid, gas and dense-phase transport of CO2
- Standardize pipeline FEED study methodology across projects.
Additionally, within Pipeline Engineering you will also head the efforts on
- Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with engineering and subcontractors, handle profiles, timesheets, invoices, and ensure work quality.
- Project Oversight: Define project requirements, develop work schedules and troubleshoot as needed.
- Risk Management: Identify and report risks, and create contingency plans.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure projects meet quality standards and comply with regulations.
- Reporting and Documentation: Write progress reports and present to stakeholders.
- Change Management: Analyze operations, schedule training and meetings, and stay updated with industry trends.
Your qualifications
You are an agile and capable people lead who gains energy from working in an intense and flexible environment.
Your interpersonal skills are strong - as a tech lead as weel as a collaborator. You have excellent communication and presentation skills and navigate with a willingness to build professional relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and clients.
You likely have a M.Sc. degree in civil or structural engineering or a related field, and your technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills are excellent. You have proven experience (10- years) or Ph.D. degree in the relevant engineering disciplines, preferably in the construction industry or energy domain.
You are fluent in Danish and English.
