Technical instructor for our Academy in Frederikshavn

MAN PrimeServ Frederikshavn is responsible for after-sales service for MAN Alpha, 175D high-speed motors, propellers, and remote control systems worldwide. It requires sound technical knowledge to keep the engines and propellers in top condition and therefore our engineers and customers must be familiar with the latest knowledge so that we can maintain the world's ships sailing. Our Academies play a significant role in securing this knowledge.

Our academies in Denmark are competence centers that offer extended qualification programs and provide training in 2- and 4-stroke engines and propellers.

As our new Instructor, you will help raise the competencies of hundreds of students worldwide. Does that sound like something to you? Then read on!

What should I do?
Your primary task will be to teach, (physical and online) as well as develop and maintain course material, educational videos, etc. primarily for high-speed motors, propellers, and remote control systems. The material will be used for online and in-person teaching in our academies around the world.

The course participants consist of both our own and our customers' international employees – everything from sailing machinists to technical staff from shipping companies to power plants – who must learn everything about our 2- and 4-stroke engines and service solutions. Thus, you will feel how your work contributes to making course participants and companies more knowledgeable about our products, so that they can operate and ensure optimal utilization of the engines.

Who am I?
We imagine that you:

• Have the desire to acquire a lot of new technical and pedagogical knowledge
• Are passionate about communicating your professional wit in front of an audience
• Have a maritime or technical background, possibly as a marine engineer, or Dual Officer
• Are a trained marine engineer, mechanical engineer, or engine mechanic
• Master English fluently, both written and spoken
• Are passionate about putting your skills to use.
   

What is my new team/business area like?
As an Instructor in the Academies in Denmark, you will be part of a team of super talented employees who, among other things, includes highly specialized and technical instructors in an international environment, a digital learning consultant, administrative staff and simulator developers. You will also have to collaborate with specialists in our development department and documentation department, etc.

Your daily work will primarily be in the Academy's building in Frederikshavn, but if necessary you will also have to travel to our other departments in Denmark and abroad. You will refer to the head of Academies in Denmark.
