At FOSS, we are driven by a strong sense of purpose, and we hope you are too!

A fast-growing world population means that global food production will have to increase by 60% by 2050 to meet demand. We want to come up with smarter ways to make the best use of agricultural resources and to help eliminate food waste. If that sounds like something you would like to get out of bed for every Monday morning, then read on.

How we work
We are looking for a talented Technical Assistant, to take on an exciting and challenging position and join our Product Engineering team, within our Research and Development department.

FOSS develops and produces state of the art analysis instruments for analysis of milk, meat, grain, wine and more. Our instruments combine sophisticated flow systems and mechanical features with state of the art electronics and optics.

In this position, we expect you to solve quality and performance issues. Your daily tasks will be diverse, and will typically span from electronic circuit design to securing the performance of the instrument by troubleshooting on optical and electromechanical interfaces. Tasks thus often require a coordinated effort across the organization, and you will get to work with many different teams and colleagues.

We work at a high speed, with highly skilled and motivated colleagues in multidisciplinary projects. Maybe you are the next reinforcement of the already great FOSS team!

About the job
As technical assistant, you will play a central role in handling the technical administrative tasks and documentation involved in improving and maintaining our existing product portfolio.

Your tasks will include:

  • Preparing engineering changes
  • Maintaining BOM lists and spare part manuals
  • Correcting 2D&3D documentation in Inventor and Pro-E
  • Handling technical product data in SAP and other administrative tasks
  • Coordinating tasks with multiple stakeholders

About you

Our ideal candidate comes with an education as a technical designer or similar. You have experience with CAD-systems, preferably Inventor and Pro-E, as well as experience with Microsoft Office, ideally with SAP.

You are systematic, detail-oriented and well-structured, and have a passion for technical administration with a good overview.

You must share our passion for technology engineering and excellent service. You are committed to delivering high-quality work and you must be able to shuffle between multiple tasks.

Good communication and coordination skills are required as you are dealing with several internal stakeholders.

People describe you as someone who is talented at building strong working relationships and working with many different people - we picture you as a team player with a good sense of humor.

But above all...we are looking for the right individual to work in a positive, flexible, and fast-paced technical work environment!

About us
