For our Tech Integration Team within the R&D and Applications Division in Avedøre we are looking for a Tech Integration Manager to help further developing and implementing products in the area of Natural Food Colors.
 
Chr. Hansen is a world leading company which develops and manufactures natural colors that combines 140 years of unique application and regulatory expertise with a strong, extensive global presence and the widest natural color portfolio in the industry. Our Tech Integration Team consists of four dedicated and skilled employees who daily works on delivering a high level of research in regards to product optimizations, applications and implementing of exciting new products in the Chr. Hansen, Natural Food Colors Division.  
 
Focus on new product manufacturing and being the interface between R&D and Production  
Within the Coloring, R&D and Application Division, your role is to be the real technical interface between R&D and Production and to define the means to be used to ensure the launch of new product manufacturing, in compliance with the specifications and quality, cost, time and safety requirements.

As such you can look forward to a role entailing the following responsibilities:  

  • Manage, together with the pilot plant manager, the activities of the different trials to be done 
  • Ensuring proper follow-up of the implementation procedure and optimal planning of the various test requests and their management. 
  • Focusing on the implementation of new products and the optimization of existing process at pilot/production scale 
  • Acting as the technical contact for preparing the hand-over production and facilitate the process
  • Supporting in the area of troubleshooting in Production 
  • Ensuring continuous process improvement and help improve production efficiencies 
  • Operational, people management of the four employees in the team with an emphasis on creating a positive and energetic working culture  resulting in successful and timely deliverables 

This role is very important and visible within the division, as the work done together with the team, has a very high impact on the innovation index and yield optimization results in regards to the products in Natural Food Colors. 
 
Master degree background, a positive mind-set and a great people manager 
You have a master degree in food science or processes. This is backed by experience from a manager role providing you with good people management skills, specially understanding the importance of training and further development of skills in a team. In addition you have the ability to act autonomously, balancing and prioritizing the tasks and demands to the work of the team. Also, you are capable of reporting to the rest of the management group, highlighting team results and making sure that the work done gets recognized.  
 
You will need a critical mind-set in regards to the work on improvements and optimizations and you have the ability to stay professional and on-point with documentation. As you will be working cross-organizationally you will need all of your ability to collaborate and create sustainable relationships. This takes very good communication skills in English, written and spoken and also a multicultural mindset and working attitude. As such, you can transmit your personal enthusiasm and positive attitude to other people around you and ensure that plans and deadlines are kept.
