Join us as our new Team Leader of QC Chemistry Lab
As Team Leader of 15 skilled and dedicated lab technicians, you will set the direction for our well-equipped chemistry lab, ensure timely delivery of results to our customers, and focus on progress on a variety of projects. Besides your team of technicians, you will partner up with fellow chemists and other colleagues to support you in making a high performing team – a team that have fun while dealing with the challenges of an ever-changing portfolio of analytical methods, procedures, and equipment.

Welcome to QC Lab Ka
In QC Lab Ka, we are 57 employees, and we’re part of a large family of QC laboratories spread across the world. The department encompass three distinct disciplines: Microbiology, Chemistry and Substrate production. We’re now looking for you, our next successful team leader of the 15 lab technicians in the Chemistry Lab. The daily business includes a lot of communication and collaboration on top of the lab work, and we pride ourselves of having an informal, positive, and dedicated way of working.
 
In this role you’ll make an impact by:

• Taking responsibility for team wellbeing, output and support to our customers and colleagues
• Developing both the team and individual employees
• Conducting positive change management
• Driving projects in a structured way
• Ensuring a high level of quality in all aspects of work
• Focusing on continuous improvements using a structured LEAN approach

To succeed you must hold:

• A Bachelor or Master’s degree within biotechnology or similar life science field
• Experience as people manager, e.g. as team coordinator, team leader or project manager with informal leadership role
• Be knowledgeable of quality requirements (ISO/GLP/GMP) and LEAN optimization
• Be proactive and highly motivated with a drive for results
• Be a team player with excellent communication skills (in both Danish and English) and a positive attitude

This job will be located at the Kalundborg site.
