Leading our new team
We are about to build up a new team primarily focused on Test and Verification. In the role as Team Lead, it will be your responsibility to ensure the team’s kick-of and pave the way for its further success. The team will be responsible for verification testing at component, module/integration and at system level. We currently test within mechanics, electronics and optics fields.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Define the framework for our future Test and Verification activities
- Develop and qualify new test methods in cooperation with our R&D team
- Prepare test and verification plans for specific development projects
- Ensure a common global approach to verification testing
- Ensure that test equipment is in compliance
- Coordinate test activities between the global innovation team and our local innovation teams
Design control and verification testing
We expect you to hold a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree within a science, technical or engineering related field. You have a minimum of 5 years of experience as Test and Verification engineer and you have been a project member in several development projects, preferably in a global company. You also have a thorough understanding of design control in product development projects from your previous positions in the medical device industry.
To be successful in the position it is key that you have an in-depth understanding of how to use statistical methods within verification testing - preferably, you have a Six Sigma black belt education.
Furthermore, it is an advantage if you have experience from projects that combine mechanics, electronics and software in devices.
Strong drive and a passion for securing high product quality
As you will be a key driver in building up Ambu’s new function for test and Verification, it is important that you have a strong drive. You also need to be good at prioritising while maintaining your focus. You are able to interact and communicate with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation. High product quality is a main motivation to you, and through your work, you will ensure that Ambu continues to develop safe and robust products.
Ambu is a global company and you will be involved in cross-cultural collaboration. Consequently, it is a requirement that you are fluent in English. In particular, it is important that you hold a high level in written English and that you are willing to travel approximately 10-20 days per year.
