We are gearing up to disrupt the MedTech market. Would you like to join us?

Soon, we will introduce embedded technologies into our products to make life easier for patients with intimate health care needs around the world. Joining us, you can put your domain knowledge, creative capabilities and verification planning skills to good use, leading to superb user experience with our products.

Join the people behind the solutions
In our headquarters in Humlebæk, our Systems Engineering & Embedded Solutions team of 18, is currently working on various medical device projects. We aim to turn embedded software, connectivity technologies, cloud services and mobile applications into complete digital solutions, that will give our users even more control–and confidence.

“You will play a key role in our journey to bring ground-breaking embedded medical products to market” says Sr. Director, Systems Engineering & Embedded Solutions, Erkki Juntunen.

Ensure the right systems verification approach for our Embedded Solutions
As Systems Verification Manager, you will be responsible for establishing top-level verification plans, putting into place a strategy that will ensure that requirements are met on our embedded medical solutions.
In short, you will plan and control verification execution, review verification results and make conclusions on verification coverage and product maturity. You will do this in collaboration with your colleagues in Systems Engineering & Embedded Solutions, and with our external development and verification partners.

In more detail, your key tasks will be to:

  • Create an overall systems verification strategy and plan, working closely with System Engineers to make sure requirements are covered by verification
  • Align the plan with various technical domains (e.g., electronics, software, etc.) and review lower-level plans across the project
  • Establish a clear communication structure for both internal and external verification partners,  including a plan for meetings, documentation and data sharing needed to plan and follow up on the verification
  • Follow up on the test execution, identify areas where further testing is needed and report the progress to management
  • Review and approve test reports from technical areas and create a top-level systems verification report with conclusion on product maturity

Experience with systems verification
One of your key tasks will be to make sure that product maturity and quality is understood by stakeholders throughout the systems verification process. Therefore, you will need to be able to interact easily at various levels of the organisation as well as be able to clearly explain the verification status and actions needed. You burn for finding out if things work as they should, and you have the needed toolbox of verification methodology and processes with you already. You strive for getting quality products out to market on time, through well-planned and executed systems verification approach.

Furthermore, you:

  • Have a BSc or an MSc in electrical or Software engineering or similar
  • Have solid experience working with systems verification planning and execution and have worked with embedded device development projects where external partners were involved
  • Have knowledge of testing techniques and best practices. ISTQB certification is considered as a plus
  • Have worked with medical devices – if not, you have worked in a similarly regulated industry
  • Have great communications skills and are fluent in English in both written and oral
