Systems Specialist, Method Control & Analytics, Bagsværd
A visionary IT system strategy has secured our global quality control labs a unique efficient and well-established integration of IT systems. We’re now looking for the next person to develop this strategy further, ensuring both maintenance and development of the systems. Could that be you?
We expect you to have insight into data management/IT systems and the interface between technology and data. You should have a sound understanding of laboratory processes. The key systems you will be responsible for are LIMS (Labvantage), and our inhouse system for automatic processing of data. You will also have co-responsibility for LabX and various software robots. Interacting with our IT suppliers will be an important part of this position.
In addition to superior knowledge of a wide variety of IT processes and an inert drive for exploitation of new possibilities, you also possess stakeholder management skills and a strong analytical approach to your work. Understanding the business and identifying where you can bring most value to the organization in a global setting is part of your preferred approach.
In this position you need to:
- Have a Master or PhD in biological sciences, engineering or similar
- Have a sound understanding of laboratory processes
- Have documented expertise and passion for IT systems
- Have experience working with relational databases
- Preferably have project leadership experience
