We are looking for a Systems Integration Engineer to join the Engineering team at our technology hub in Sønderborg, our new office in Kolding or our HQ in Copenhagen.

As our new colleague, you will join a rapidly growing Engineering team. The Engineering organisation is composed of talented and passionate specialists in Mechanical, Electrical, Grid, Simulation, and Project engineering.

Most of our engineers are placed in Sønderborg, next to our advanced 2 MW PV test facility centre, one of the biggest in Europe. Power electronics, data communication, tracking systems, battery storage systems and steel constructions are developed, tested, and optimised.

How you will make a difference in Better Energy
You will work alongside specialists to develop smart solutions, maintain existing designs, and participate in new technology projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for optimising and utilizing data as the foundation for our decisions.

The job requires getting things done quickly and dealing with a variety of activities. Self-assurance and the attitude to consciously guide towards results while constantly solving problems and engaging the commitment of others is essential in this position.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Assuring communication and data flow within a PV park
  • Helping the team make the best design choices on communication and data infrastructure.
  • Pre- and post-processing of data.
  • Signal inputs and control of components. Assuring components can be integrated together into a PV park.
  • Providing analysis capabilities and data utilization to our stakeholders
  • Play a key role in the development of the park controller and future interactions.
  • Have input into energy management and controlling.
  • Learn and explore new advancements in the fields of renewable energy and data engineering.

You will be at either our office in Sønderborg, our new office in Kolding or our HQ in Copenhagen. Regular travel between your office and our technology hub in Sønderborg, as well as occasional visits to other Better Energy offices, must be expected.
