Do you want to be Weibel’s technical ambassador at customer sites all over the world?

If you have a solid combination of technical knowledge and an outgoing personality, you have just the right foundation for this exciting position. At Weibel you will join the world’s leading developer of radar systems - delivered to customers across the globe. We experience success and growth, and that is why we need you to join our team for final system testing, system delivery and aftermarket services. Our goal is to make you a true Weibel radar expert.

Installation, training and testing across mechanical equipment and software
Your overall goal is to make customers satisfied. You will do so by unfolding your skills across installation, testing and training. We will provide you with on-going training, and your tasks and responsibility will gradually expand accordingly. You spend approx. 50 % of your time at customer sites all over the world, mostly on your own. Each trip typically lasts for 3-7 days, occasionally with short notice.

Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Provide operator training in Denmark and at customer sites - under and after installation
  • Deliver technical customer support via mail and phone
  • Handle maintenance, upgrades, incidents and repairs - at customer sites
  • Perform both Pre and Final Factory and Site Acceptance Testing
  • Convert system requirements into Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) specifications
  • Deliver mission support at customer sites, e.g. rocket launches

Please note that some of your tasks will take part in restricted areas that require security clearance.

Solid technical skills and passion for travelling
You have an engineering degree at B.Sc. level or similar. This is backed by at least 5 years’ experience from a job where you have had direct dialogue with customers. Additionally, you have tested yourself as trainer and you like to pass on your knowledge to others. As you will work on systems that comprise mechanical engineering and software you must have good computer skills and not be afraid to grab a screwdriver in order to fix a mechanical problem on-site.

On the personal level you have the overview to make a thought out plan for the tasks you have ahead of you as well as the calmness to handle unforeseen incidents with confidence. To succeed, you must also have an open mind towards working with people with very different cultural and professional backgrounds.

About Service and Aftersales - your new department
You will join a small and agile team of 6 highly skilled Engineers and Technicians. We work in an open and informal environment where knowledge sharing and helpfulness is a corner stone in succeeding, personally and as a team.
