As a SW engineer at ICEpower you will develop and implement intelligent audio processing solutions that improve the audio performance of consumer devices. We actively develop audio processing algorithms for digitally improving the sound of laptops and mobile devices. Recently we have expanded the portfolio with state of the art algorithms for improving the signal quality from the device microphone to Microsoft's Cortana speech recognition solution. Digital improvement of signal quality for speech audio is an area in massive growth, and we intent to be at the front of the development across all the platforms in the market. Not just Cortana. Our solutions span multiple platforms - Microsoft Windows 10, Android and Intel iSST DSP firmware are the major areas and we expect mobile and embedded solutions to grow the most.

Skills and experience
In order to realize our goals we are looking for software engineers. We work agile and test driven, and look for people with a collaborative mindset who will enjoy being part of dynamic project teams. Our development cycles are short, from concept, to development, to testing to deployment. The code you develop will quickly be deployed to the benefit of hundreds of millions of consumers globally. Perhaps you have a professional background in the open source community, with expert knowledge of  ++ from developing software for Unix/Linux. Perhaps you are a highly talented programmer currently working somewhere in the stack of an enterprise scale web-solution, and are curious to try something entirely different. Or perhaps you have recently graduated and can demonstrate a knack for programming through your recent work experience and academic projects.

Whatever your background may be, what we value mostly is your ability to adapt to the circumstances and take responsibility, so you can help make sure we get where we must - the software team in ICEpower is going through major development. And as a Software Engineer in ICEpower, you could have great influence on both software architecture, DevOps tools and infrastructure, as well as the overall product and planning of future capabilities. Skills and abilities, we would like you to demonstrate:

• MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Informatics or related field
• Experience with firmware development for Intel chipsets DSP softcores (e.g.iSST) is a big bonus
• High level of proficiency with C++ iSST) is a big bonus
• Ability to think and implement within Object Oriented programming principles
• Understanding of digital signal processing is a bonus
• Ability to master new APl's quickly
• Open for occasional travelling world wide
• Ability to design and implement interfaces with different parts of the system
• Fluent in English language to collaborate and engage with customers worldwide
• Experience with C# and scripting languages is a bonus
• Interest in the music industry/audio products is a bonus
• Experience with Windows Audio Processing Objects is a big bonus
