For our Foundation Department within Business Unit Offshore Wind, we are looking for a Support Structure Condition Monitoring Project Manager (SSCM) to support our foundation team in continuously being able to deliver state-of-the-art condition monitoring systems for our windfarms. We are looking for an experienced senior project manager with relevant offshore experience, and with a solid understanding of structural Integrity.

Your job
As SSCM manager you will become a key member of our structural integrity team. Your main responsibility will be focussed around delivery of monitoring systems for specific projects and leading the development of new structural integrity technologies for the future. You will work together with our internal design team and thereby impacting the overall design philosophy. In addition you will engage with and manage external consultants.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Maintain full insight concerning the SSCM Products based on past Asset Projects using SSCM.
  • Engage and interact with all necessary internal stakeholders within the concerned Asset Project and any other internal Stakeholders.
  • Cooperate with relevant Measurement Manager(s) to ensure the SSCM Hardware are considered Pre-FID and Post FID
  • Build early budgets for relevant products and projects.
  • Ensure a smooth Tendering / Contracting Process with the selected supplier(s) until contract signature in coordination with Procurement and Contract Management.
  • Ensure a smooth SSCM Project Execution until delivery, installation, commissioning and payment of the procured goods & services.
  • Whenever required, strengthen your SSCM Project Team with the suitable human resource especially during Project Execution phase (installation).
  • Cooperate with SSCM Analytics Product to ensure fit-for-purpose delivery of Data Engineering and Analytics capabilities within the Asset Project landscape.
  • Apply, follow and further develop Vattenfall Product Project Management Standards and adjust as required,
  • Set-up and maintain the overall documentation related to the SSCM Project within a given Asset Project
  • Pursue the technology / market review and interface de-risking
  • Ensure timely delivery within the Offshore Wind Farm Project critical paths (on time, on budget, as per the requirement specifications).
  • Liaise with any 3rd party in a coordinated manner with other VF stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve with Foundation Road Map the SSCM Products
  • Manage and report the budget actuals and forecasting vs planning.

Your profile:
You are a proactive, hands-on, creative, pragmatic, constructive solution-finder, with a strong drive. You support a strong team spirit (win together, roll-up the sleeves together, support each-other), and a natural stakeholder manager who with ease manage a small team in a flat and matrix organization.

  • A relevant Master degree e.g within System Engineering or Electronics unless a strong proven professional experience with continuous education leading to equivalent qualifications.
  • Project Management Qualification or evidence of formal training.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience working for Equipment Manufacturers and/or industries related to Offshore Wind, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure manufacturing or using intensively Condition Monitoring / Structural Health Monitoring products/solutions.
  • Typical previous roles : (Electronics) Product Manager, Product Project Manager, System Engineering Manager with tangible achievements.
  • Preferably equally technical and business minded (commercial, tactical, procurement)
  • You are fluent in English, both in speech and writing.

Location:
Office location is flexible in Kolding, Denmark or Hamburg, Germany, Amsterdam The Netherands or London, UK, occasional travel within northern Europe should be expected.
