Subject Matter Expert to support our Product Owner

Do you have the experience, drive and passion to support the agile transformation for the next generation wind turbine operations? Are you interested in joining the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power?

Join us and become Subject Matter Expert in the Data Intelligence & Risk Management team where you’ll be supporting our Product Owner managing a team of skilled IT developers. We’re responsible for delivering solutions across Operations’ entire value chain based on SAFe agile and DevOps principles. The solutions will improve the performance, reliability and integrity of the largest offshore wind turbine fleet in the world. We work in cross-functional teams consisting of product owners, data scientists, IT developers and business specialists within a variety of technical areas – and always in close collaboration with our customers. 

Data Intelligence & Risk Management is involved in data refinement, system development, data requirements for KPI reporting, yield warranties maintenance and risk management across our operations portfolio.  

Your key tasks will be to

  • co-lead a feature team as Subject Matter Expert
  • provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project
  • make requirement specifications with our Business Intelligence specialists
  • ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of refined tasks to work on
  • assess value, develop cases and prioritise user requirements to ensure the work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with the product strategy.

In addition, you’ll provide backlog management, iteration planning and elaboration on the features. You’ll play an active role in mitigating obstacles impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals and keep up to date with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends.

Your competences include that you

  • have a master’s degree in IT management, business, economics or similar
  • speak and write English fluently
  • thrive in an international environment that’s constantly changing
  • preferably have some experience with the SAFe principles.

As a person, you have strong communication skills, enabling you to present results professionally to business partners. You work systematically, show responsibility and deliver high-quality solutions. In addition, you have a results and value-adding approach to your work and a flair for working with complicated analytical challenges. The ideal candidate could have experience from a similar position or come straight from university.  Lastly, you’re able to create results through teamwork and develop good relationships with all your stakeholders and colleagues.
