For our Portfolio Management & Operational Readiness department within Global Operations (Service) located in Brande/Denmark, we are looking for a Student Worker. You will be working on improving our PowerBI reporting for the Global Operational Readiness and secondly work with related operational processes and tasks within a small team who supports the Regional Operational Readiness teams.

How to contribute to our vision
As a Student support in our Portfolio Management & Operational Readiness department you will be a key member of an international and agile team within the Global Operational Service area. You will be working in a dynamic environment in close collaboration with our internal customers to develop sustainable and value-adding solutions.

Here you will be supporting and driving improvement, development and implementation within PowerBI reporting for Portfolio Management and Operational Readiness. Support in ensuring knowledge sharing and use of best practice across regions. Further, you will work on ad-hoc tasks and processes.

What you need to make a difference
A passion for renewable energy and a sense of the importance to lead the change. We are looking for someone who is currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program, ideally in operations and management engineering, management of technology or similar. The candidate must be able to commit to 15-25 weekly working hours at Siemens Gamesa – the working hours can be flexible and arranged around your university schedule. To be successful in this role, you furthermore possess:

  • You should feel at home working in a multicultural environment with international teams.
  • You have a willingness to learn and improve, as well as work closely together with the team while you take ownership of your tasks.
  • You are analytical, comfortable working with details, outgoing and a quick learner.
  • You have a structured and organized approach to your tasks and like to work in a team.
  • You are an advanced user of MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, and you have a flair for numbers. It will be an advantage to have experiences in programming of PowerBI.
  • Excellent English skills– both orally and in writing.
