We are looking for a student worker to join our Offshore Software development team and work with us on code metrics, code quality, tools etc.. We use various programming languages & tools (C++, C#, JavaScript, LabView, Simulink etc.). Good possibilities for learning from skilled SW colleagues. The Turbine Control SW team is an integral part of the Technology organization that forms our technological leadership core. We continuously aim to be the best in class. We work on delivering competitive, top-quality control SW solutions that optimize our fleet's energy output. We are a diverse team and work in a spirit of an informal Danish culture. The job position is based in our Brande office.

How to contribute to our vision?
Based on your specific knowledge & interests within the software area you will as our student worker work with either code metrics, code quality, test, tools etc.  We will find relevant tasks that with some adaptations are possible to work with independently, however still supported and guided by a skilled colleague. SW knowledge and eagerness & ability to learn is a must.

It takes the brightest minds to be a technology leader. But it also takes time and effort. For this reason, we want you to join us from the very beginning of your professional career. Most of our student workers do their master projects in collaboration with us and are often offered full-time employment afterwards.

We expect that you can work 10-20h per week. Periods with more work can also be agreed on as long as it does not interfere with your studies.

What you need to make a difference:
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are looking for someone who is currently enrolled in their 1st or 2nd year of M.Sc. or B.Sc, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science at a recognized Danish University. To be successful in this role, you are:

  • Eager to learn, good spirited, love to collaborate with a team and are ready to take on tasks independently
  • Driven by a desire to improve and make a change
  • Familiar with version control systems such as Git
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
