Make a solid career move and join us to work with Visual Studio, Git and C# test scripts in a DevOps environment, as you walk the line between software and hardware integration.

Welcome to GN Hearing – we know sound
At GN Hearing, we balance scientific research with expertise across advanced hearing aids and accessories. Joining us at our office in Ballerup, you become part of our Test Development team, which currently consists of 11 developers, who work together to create software for our state-of-the-art hearing devices and wireless accessories.

The team also consists of 3 other student workers, and together, you help the rest of the team develop, specify and verify features and ensure software functionality in new devices and products.

Test and verify features and help automate testing using C#
As a student worker, you will work closely with 2 of our senior developers, and you can look forward to a thorough introduction to your tasks and learning how to work with our test framework.

Your task will include verifying the correct behavior of our signal processing algorithms, wireless protocols and the operating systems that are embedded in our hearing instruments. More specifically, you will:

  • Assist in the manual verification of the functionality of our firmware platform
  • Help implement and maintain automatic testing of our hearing instruments using C#
  • Set up and configure PC’s and other equipment needed to build up and maintain our test systems

We offer a very flexible work environment where you will have ample opportunity to plan your work to accommodate exams and schoolwork.

You want to work with software testing and verification
You are a solid team player and eager to learn and gain knowledge that cannot be achieved solely from studying. You have a systematic approach to your work and a great sense of detail. Moreover, you:

  • Are studying for a degree in computer science, engineering or similar with a couple of years left of your studies
  • Know your way around object-oriented programming
  • Have good communication skills and speak and write English
