About the position:

The focus of the position is maintaining and supporting our Open Source Universal Robots Client Library and our own related interface including the ROS and Isaac SDK driver.

The Universal Robots Client Library is a client library written in C++ made to facilitate external control of Universal Robot arms. Currently this library is used in both our current ROS driver as well as the Isaac SDK driver, but is also targeting third-party implementations.

The job will mainly involve development and operations that support the robustness, usability and future development of these components. It also includes building pipeline and automated tests using docker and manual tests. Skills and knowledge within C++, ROS, ROS2, ISAAC SDK, Linux, Docker etc. are desirable.

In Odense, Denmark, you will join our R&D Department, a diverse group of 160 smart, creative people working at the forefront of collaborative robotics in an international working environment. Together, we are finding innovative solutions to some of the most important manufacturing issues facing businesses today. Universal Robots was a forerunner in creating the industry and has dominated it ever since, so you will get acquainted to some of the most skillful and experienced people in the field. You will also gain hands on experience, working with our robots.
