Student worker for designing a new version of a mobile robot
SDU Robotics is looking for a student worker for joining the HanDiRob team.
Primary tasks would include fixing the current version and design a new version of our HanDiRob mobile platform (https://handirob.eu/). HanDiRob is a project aimed at creating and testing a mobile modular interactive hand sanitizer robot to be used at hospitals. The ideal candidate would:
- know how to use CAD software (e.g. Fusion 360) to design the chassis and shell of the robot or improve our current design
- have experience with 3D printing (we use an Ultimaker S5)
- have experience with finishing of 3D printed surfaces
- know how to choose parts for building a mobile robot (e.g. motors, alu profiles, batteries, controllers)
- have experience with basic electronics
- have some experience with programming
- is on the way to getting a degree in engineering (any flavor) or in similar fields at SDU
- has a can-do attitude
- is available to work during the summer, at least partially.

The job would last until the end of the year, with full-time hours during the summer (up to 37hr/week) and part-time hours after that (up to 14hr/week). SDU is an equal opportunity employer.
