The job
As a student worker, your main focus is to:

  • Support project managers with developing and maintaining data solutions.
  • Maintain ETL tasks and data pipelines, using different tools.
  • Do ad-hoc analyses, be able to describe the results and explain the process behind your reasoning.
  • Propose solutions and actively engage in conversations with the team.
  • Learn and acquire technical knowledge rapidly and be able to navigate through the supporting documentation.
  • Get relevant experience for your future career.

We expect that your education comes as first priority, and we are flexible when it comes to your working hours.

Qualifications
We imagine that you are studying engineering or an IT related program but we are open to applicants from other study programs as well. It is though important that you can stay with us for a while, and you have still a few years left on your study. It is recommended that you have completed at least one course using object-oriented programming, and a course on database technologies, or you have equivalent experience. Some courses on enterprise systems or business processes are a plus. You must know you way around programming, and while we don’t expect you to be a pro, you need to have solid fundamentals on place. If there’s a language or application we use that you don’t know about, then we anticipate that you can bring yourself to a proficient level and skill-up on a reasonably rapid pace. You’re not afraid of challenges and you have a “can do!” attitude towards work. We expect that you have experienced at least some of the following programming languages:

  • SQL.
  • Python.
  • Java and/or C-Sharp.
  • VBA.

Experience with the following tools:

  • Microsoft Office – particularly Excel.
  • A programming IDE, such as Visual Studio or similar.
  • A database query tool, such as SQL Server Management Studio or similar.

Basic engine engineering experience or interest, is appreciated. You can easily communicate your findings and doubts, and you can address stakeholders at all levels. You can easily engage in work across international and diverse teams and you thrive sharing your knowledge with others. The team is situated in different locations both in Denmark, and other European countries, therefore you need to be structured, and able to work independently.

Your new team
We are a team of seven full time employees, with different roles in making sure that data on our engines, and equipments are updated. We enable the rest of the organization in taking important steps in digitalization. We work from Copenhagen, Holeby and Frederikshavn, and have a long experience in virtual way of work. In addition we have 6 students who we trust with important tasks, and we hope that you will become one of them. Lastly we have a team of colleagues in Greece that we work closely with.
