Student UX designer - MedTech
3Shape is making cutting-edge 3D scanners for the Dental industry. We’re able to scan teeth by building a 3D model in real-time with incredible speed, which requires instant feedback to and from the user.
The 3D scan can be used to compare with previous scans, begin to design teeth digitally, show treatment simulation based on artificial intelligence, and much more. We are striving to make software that supports all these workflows to help users provide the best possible experience when treating their patients. We want to strengthen our UX resources in the Dental Platform software department, so that we can deliver a brilliant user experience across our various software products.
Your tasks and responsibilities are, in collaboration with our team of UX’ers, visual designers, and developers, to make great user experiences by
- Concept exploration and maturation
- Developing interactive prototypes (low/high fidelity)
- Designing UI
- Doing usability tests
- Documenting learnings (design guidelines, video editing, reporting test results)
Your profile
- Student within the field of IT, engineering, psychology, anthropology, or similar with interest in user engagement and human-centered design
- At least 1½ year until graduation
- Pro-active and engaging. Analytical and structured
- Able to think like a user
Useful key skills
- Describing problems and designing user experiences (user stories, layouts, behaviors)
- Graphical and/or interaction design (e.g. Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Design Thinking principles Fluent in written and spoken English
