Lenus eHealth is a fast-growing software company helping health and fitness professionals build an online business through an all-in-one coaching platform complemented by advisory services on business development, digital marketing and personal branding. A central part of our solution is a CRM system that guides coaching teams in managing their leads and clients in the most effective way. It serves as the hub of their coaching business and is an essential part of their daily workflow.

To accelerate the development of our CRM system, we are looking for a talented student software engineer, who will join an agile squad of 5 engineers, a designer and a product owner. As a student engineer, you will get the chance to develop and contribute to our feature rich system in collaboration with your team of talented co-workers gradually taking on more responsibility according to your liking.

Our software has helped people lose over 100.000 kg and change their life with healthy habits, workouts and nutrition! To support that growth, we need you to join our product organization of 40+ superstars. As a Student Software Engineer, your mission will be able to: 

  • Help move our product efforts forward by taking on feature requests and squash bugs

  • Learn and adopt best practices in software engineering design, testing, documentation, deployment, and operations

  • Get to know development sprint rituals and join discussions around different platform initiatives

  • Take occasional charge in troubleshooting and maintaining high quality and low bug count in our core products

About you
Ideally, you: 

  • Are pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Are an Engineer at heart (please, see https://www.notion.so/lenus/Engineers-at-heart-6232f941df4b4b26828c4ca57...).

  • Have relevant experience in hands-on software development.

  • Have solid written and verbal communication skills in English, are able to clearly articulate technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical colleagues.

  • Know at least one either front-end (preferably React) and / or back-end (preferably Node.js) tech stack.

  • Preferably have experience in working with relational databases like PostgreSQL.

  • Are up for non-work initiatives such as our morning runs, daily quizzes, coffee grinding and Friday Bars.
