Student iOS developer (Swift)

At Climify we want to optimize the indoor environment by listening to how the user actually feels. We want to control the indoor climate of a building by not only looking at sensor data like temperature, humidity etc. but also at how the individual user perceive the indoor climate. By taking the input of both raw sensor data and combining it with the feedback of the occupant we can achieve an indoor climate that is not only healthy and cost efficient – but an environment that also feels comfortable for the occupant. We currently have two technical platforms to achieve this goal – a mobile app to allow users to give feedback on the indoor climate and a web platform for monitoring the indoor climate. We need help with the development of the feedback app on iOS!  If you are a talented software developer who is up for a challenge and wants to work with a small tech startup with big dreams, then you might be the one we are looking for.

About the job
Within this position, the candidate will help the team develop and maintain our iOS app written in Swift and make some changes on our backend in NodeJS. You will be working in a small dynamical team. It would be great if you have experience with backend as well. Technologies we use:

• Mobile app: Swift, XCode.
• Backend: ExpressJS, NodeJS, Rest API, MongoDB.
• BLE and BLE Beacons.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code. The focus of the position is on developing the iOS app and tools to work with will be provided for you (Mac and iPhone).

• Develop quality software.
• Analyze and maintain existing application.
• Design highly scalable, testable code.
• Discover and fix bugs.

Qualifications
The qualifications you must have are:

• BSc or MSc student or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
• Development experience with iOS (Swift).
• MVVM-C architecture.
• REST API understanding.
• Git.

Qualifications thare are nice to have are

• Publishing apps on TestFlight.
• SwiftUI.
• Combine and/or RxSwift.
• Experience with automated UI and unit testing.
• Understanding of backend, NodeJS.
• SQL databases.
• Linux experience.
