Student Full-Stack Developer in Startup

MyMonii is an app where families and kids learn about money in digital world. Physical money is less frequent and money often comes from the tap of a card. It is less tangible which pose a challenge to parents. Our solution provides financial awareness with a mastercard in great collaboration with our app where families have direct access to pocket money. Kids solve tasks and follow their pocket money as they progress in their daily chores or receive their allowance.
MyMonii is growing rapidly and we have just launched our new premium solution with our own MyMonii cards that play perfectly together with our app.

We are looking for a student developer who feel inspired by our vision and would thrive in a startup environment. To us, the right mindset is more important than experience. As a student developer at MyMonii, you will be a part of a technical team of 5 and will from the very beginning be given freedom and responsibility.

Technologies involved:

• Gitlab - CI/CD
• Node.js
• Vue
• TypeScript
• Firebase (Firebase functions, firestore)
• BigQuery & Datastudio

What we expect from you:

• Actively participating in building and maintaining the platform with focus on our Node.js backend and admin frontend tools.
• Good understanding of frontend technologies such as Vue, Angular and React
• Great attention to detail when it comes to writing proper code
• Creating and maintaining unit tests
• Writing kick-ass documentation to the benefit of all
• Know the difference between a NoSQL and SQL database
• A team-player who wants to help those around you. Trust is key.
• Fluent in English

Practicalities:

• Paid by the hour. To be negotiated.
• 8-10 hours a week in the beginning but room for more (and based on your schedule)
