As our new student employee in People & Culture, you will be an integrated part of making sure we have the right initiatives in place to support the development of our employees.

Join a team of dedicated HR professionals
Our HR Partnering & Development team is responsible for building Danske Commodities’ ability to attract, develop and retain skilled and talented employees. We partner with the business to deliver high-quality sparring, HR tools and people development initiatives. You will join a team of highly skilled and dedicated HR professionals, who work on defining and executing the high people ambitions of Danske Commodities. As our new student employee, you will support the team in setting the overall people development agenda for the company and support our employees on their continuous learning journey.

Your journey to becoming an accomplished people development specialist
Your primary task will be to support our People Development Specialist in driving our people development activities. Your main focus will be to maintain and further improve our internal hub for learning and development, DC University, in close sparring with our People Development Specialist. This includes assessing training and development needs, selecting facilitators, run evaluations and drive the enrolment administration. We will have specific assignments lined up for you from day one: some assignments may be a bit routine (say for example enrolling people in training sessions), but most will be creative and challenging (like writing leadership communications or supporting the development of new organisational initiatives, e.g. designing career paths). After a few months, you’ll take over full responsibility for maintaining and developing our DC University and support our People Development Specialist in providing leaders and employees with relevant opportunities for training and development.

Reporting to the Head of HR Partnering & Development, you will join a small team of six people. We work closely together, so you should also expect to be involved in other HR-related assignments, such as preparing PowerPoint presentations for the Board of Directors, Senior Leadership and other relevant stakeholders. Further, you will be supporting the People & Culture team on various ad hoc projects.

Structured and proactive go-getter with a knack for communication and visualisation
As our new student employee, you might come from various academic programmes, e.g. Business Administration, Human Ressources, Communications or similar. In terms of relevant experience, you have maybe worked in a similar position, worked with consultancy, attended case competitions or something completely different. What’s most important is that you are structured and have a proactive mindset. Further, we expect you to have a well-founded communications toolbox, both in terms of writing and building personal relations, and we also expect you to be a skilled PowerPoint user who can visualise and communicate a variety of (sometimes complex) messages and data in PowerPoint.
