Student Developer
We are seeking a passionate and competent student with an interest in executing a project-based development of a database for medical data collected by our medical device. Starting as soon as possible, with excellent guidance and feedback from our team of experienced engineers.
About Neurescue:
Founded in 2014, Neurescue is a medical device startup pioneering an improved treatment of cardiac arrest. Cardiac arrest is the leading cause of death in the world, with survival at only 1 out of 10 today. The device is the first computer-aided aortic occlusion catheter, designed to increase blood flow to the brain and heart during life-threatening emergencies, thereby increasing the chance for both immediate resuscitation, while also adding up to one hour to treat the patient definitively with advanced treatments.
Neurescue is based in Copenhagen and engages 7 full-time employees plus a number of external consultants. The company is well funded.
Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to our Software Manager, the Student Developer will be responsible for the development, testing, and deployment of software.
Job Qualifications:
- Studying a Bachelor or Master's in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar
- Min. 15 hours/week
- Experience with .NET / C# is required
- Experience with database management, e.g. MySQL
- Highly motivated, result-oriented, and quality conscious
- Strong communication skills and a team player
- Strong work ethic with a sense of ownership and responsibility
- Language: Fluency in English
