Student Assistants for student recruitment in India, Colombia and Mexico
The International Office at Aarhus University is looking for two new student assistants - one to help improve our presence in India (and the South Asia area) and one for Latin America (mainly Colombia and Mexico).
The International Office at Aarhus University is looking for two new student assistants - one to help improve our presence in India (and the South Asia area) and one for Latin America (mainly Colombia and Mexico). The goal is to recruit more students for our Master’s degree programmes at the Faculties of Natural and Technical Sciences.
Here are some of the tasks we would like your assist with:
- Help answer questions from prospective South Asian and Spanish speaking students
- Set up and manage WhatsApp groups for prospective South Asian and Latin American students
- Help integrate our Aarhus University WhatsApp Business account in our communication and marketing
- Help us think of new ways to market Aarhus University in the markets
- Help set up webinars and activities for potential students and take part in presentations
- Collaborate with our other international student assistants on recruitment and communication tasks
- Help analyse Aarhus University Website Data in Google Analytics/Siteimprove
As our student assistant we expect you to have these qualifications:
- Have knowledge and experience with WhatsApp
- Speak and write English perfectly
- Speak and write one or more Indian languages and/or Spanish
- Have a positive attitude towards internationalisation and want to help other students come to Aarhus University and maybe stay here afterwards to work
- Are creative and ready to share your own ideas
- Can accept responsibility and enjoy working independently
- Know how to communicate online
Additional relevant qualifications on our wish list:
- Experience with video production
- Experience with communication & writing
- Knowledge on Google analytics or Siteimprove
- A background within Natural and Technical Science
- An analytic mindset
