The Team
The Wireless Integration team is a part of global product development team located in Lynge (Denmark), Erlangen (Germany) and Singapore consisting of electro-acoustic, mechanical, electrical layout and RF engineers.

You will be located in our CO2 neutral headquarters north of Copenhagen with dynamic and progressive colleagues, who are highly skilled and empathic. 

The Role
As a student assistant in Wireless Integration, you will support engineers in doing electrical measurements, simulations and measurement automation. You will work closely with the integration and antenna engineers. Some of them are distributed over multiple geographical locations, for instance Erlangen in Germany and Singapore, so you will also gain international experience.

In this role you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Commissioning of hearing aid prototypes
  • Measuring performance parameters of different wireless systems (10 MHz / 2.45 GHz)
  • Documenting results and test procedures
  • Automating measurement setups with Python
  • Organizing and performing test campaigns

What we hope to see in you
We expect you to be student in the area of physics, electrical engineering, medical engineering, telecommunication engineering or comparable studies minimum on your 3rd semester on your bachelor degree or 1st semester on your master degree.

Most important you have the ability to learn and analyze. You are structured and have an analytical approach to your assignments.

Experience

  • Programming knowledge in Python is a strong plus
  • Programming knowledge in Matlab is desirable
  • Experience in soldering
  • Basic knowledge in signal processing
  • Basic knowledge of radio frequency (RF) technology
  • Basic understanding of wireless systems

The corporate language is English, so you need to be fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.

Location and expected working hours
You will be working at our CO2-neutral headquarter in Lynge, which is accessible by public transport. The workload will be approximately 15 hours/week spread over two days. We are very flexible during exam periods.
