As our new student assistant, you will play a key role in assisting the new Capex Technology team with day to day tasks, but mainly help developing new Manufacturing Procedures for future investments at the sites.

As the team is under development and spread across several countries, you can expect to be working on your own and virtually from your home office, or it is possible to work from our office in Viby, Aarhus. Thus, the collaboration and interactions with the team members will take place virtually. You will receive support from our office in Aarhus and many of the required contacts in your new network, will be accessible via Teams. You will be exposed to colleagues, engineering setups and processes that spans across the Global Arla Sites. It’s an exciting opportunity to learn about Global Engineering Standards and how different cultures work together  in a global dairy company.

About the job
We trust you to work proactively and practically to meet the team’s deadlines and execute projects to the highest standards.

Tasks include:

  • Introduction to a number of IT systems that you will be required to learn and use regularly
  • Help the team gathering data on current state situation on the sites
  • Carry out internal and competitor benchmarks on equipment technology
  • Work with external suppliers to stay informed about the latest technologies
  • Responsible for developing the new standard format for writing Manufacturing Standards
  • Use your knowledge and learnings, to write Global Manufacturing Standards for future Capex

What do we expect from you?
You are currently studying and are within the last year of your bachelor or first year of your master’s degree within a Engineering- or Food Production-oriented discipline. You should be proactive, being able to work independently, have a passion for Engineering Technology and be interested in working with documentation.

We assume that you:

  • Will be studying for at least 2 more years – please indicate on your CV when you expect to graduate from your final education
  • Will be able to work approximately 1-2 days per week. Working hours are flexible to combine with studying
  • Fluent in English (Verbal & Written)
