3Shape is the global market leader of dental CAD/CAM, specializing in producing and developing 3D solutions for dental technicians and dentists. Over the past 20 years, 3Shape has successfully launched several revolutionary optical 3D scanner products, serving the audiological and dental restoration industries. 3Shape Dental Lab scanners enable efficient digital workflows by scanning dental impressions and gypsum models to facilitate CAD designs of dental restorations.

The job

Work with our development engineers making prototype devices
Designing test equipment and fixtures
General maintenance of our Development Lab
Maintaining and calibrating our 3D printers and AM equipment
Performing verification, validation, and lifetime tests

The Development Lab consists of a new build workshop with test and measuring equipment, machine tools, a cluster of 3D printers, reprocessing and sterilization equipment and other tools to provide support to our Research and Development activities.

Perfect candidate profile

Is methodical and pays attention to details
Are inspired by finding solutions to new challenges
Loves hands-on engineering
Experience in designing and building mechanisms and devices
Interest in using and maintaining 3D printers, laser cutters and other AM devices
Experience in using 3D CAD/CAE (we use SolidWorks)
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
