Student Assistant - New Product Development (NPD) - Arla Innovation Centre, Arhus

As our new student assistant, you will play a key role in assisting the new product development team with day to day tasks, updating systems, as well as adding value through your passion for food. As part of the global Fresh Dairy Development Team you will be exposed to colleagues, products and systems that span European markets. It’s an exciting opportunity to see how product development works in a global dairy company.

About the job
We trust you to work proactively and practically to meet the team’s deadlines and execute projects to the highest standards. Tasks include:

• Introduction to a number of IT systems that you will be required to learn and update regularly.
• Help the team with sample making in the kitchen & Pilot Plant environment.
• Organise the shipping of samples on behalf of the team.
• Responsible for the ordering of ingredients and nutritional analysis.
• Carry out internal and competitor benchmarks.
• Work with external suppliers to stay informed about the latest ingredients and technologies.
• Use your knowledge of food to stay up to date with the latest trends and inspire the team.

We welcome students of all educational backgrounds to apply. You should be proactive, have a passion for food, and be interested in working within product development.

We assume that you:

• Will be studying for at least 2 more years – please indicate on your CV when you expect to graduate from your final education.
• Will be able to work approximately 1-2 days per week. Working hours are flexible to combine with studying.
• Have a full driving license.
• Fluent in English (Verbal & Written).
