Would you like to reach the level above superuser in Office 365 as you teach international colleagues across the VELUX Group how to use it?

As our new student assistant, you will get to put your strong teaching skills and curiosity for IT into play as you help users communicate and collaborate digitally in new and more efficient ways.

Your challenges
At our HQ in Hørsholm, you will join what is internally known as the GET IT team where we facilitate change in the use of IT for the entire VELUX Group. Your job will be to help develop and execute our learning activities, teaching colleagues across the VELUX Group to make use of technologies, primarily in Office 365. You will join one other student assistant who will support your progression, and you will get a thorough introduction to the technologies we teach. Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Plan and conduct webinars via Skype and, to some extent, classroom training in the usage of different technologies, primarily in English and preferably also in German
  • Develop teaching material including presentations, guides and videos in collaboration with your team
  • Take care of course administration - setting up courses and communicating with participants
  • Develop new concepts and processes of educating users as we are constantly looking into new ways of helping our users adopt new technologies
  • Participate in community management - engage digitally with users throughout the organisation to answer questions and promote the learning activities we offer

You will work 10-15 hours per week, normally within regular office hours. We are highly flexible in terms of scheduling your hours, and we can easily plan around your classes and exams. Working from home is also a possibility.

Your qualifications
What you study is not vital to us, but we imagine that you are on the third year of your bachelor’s degree or have just started your master’s. You do not need to have any specific IT skills as we will teach you everything you need to know, but it will be an advantage if you are a savvy Excel user and a fast learner.

What you do need is a natural interest in IT and processes as well as solid teaching skills and interpersonal competences. You are patient and persistent, and you enjoy helping users learn new skills.

As you will be part of an international organisation, fluency in English is a prerequisite. In addition, applicants who can teach webinars in German will be preferred. Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement.
