Would you like to strengthen our numerical capabilities moving us forward as a pioneer in making offshore wind a sustainable energy source?

Join us and become Student Assistant in the Numerical Competence Centre where you’ll influence decisions and handle tasks on your own, thereby contributing with your knowledge and expertise. You’ll assist in the design and implementation of mathematical models and software systems which will be used by technical experts and engineers across our Offshore business unit.

We offer you a unique possibility to sharpen your software development skills while working closely with our team of talented specialists and seeing the impact your deliverables have on the day-to-day operation. Our main responsibility is to ensure robust and reliable tools through good software development practices, such as version control and systematic testing; and expert knowledge within a large range of mathematical disciplines.

Your key tasks will be to

  • assist in the design, implementation and maintenance of mathematical modelling tools
  • facilitate the use of basic software engineering practices including version control and automatic testing
  • participate in the streamlining of data formats through the Offshore organisation
  • prepare presentations and maintain our communication platforms such as share point workspaces.

Your competences include that you

  • are an ambitious student with at least one year left of your education
  • are studying natural sciences or a related area such as computer science, physics, math, etc.
  • are proficient in one or more compiled and/or interpreted languages and have a good overview of the strength and weaknesses of these
  • have a proactive and systematic approach to your work tasks
  • speak and write English fluently.
