Student Assistant for Engine Control Department

We experience an increased demand for our dual fuel engines that enable the green transition in shipping. Due to the increased complexity and extended product offerings, we need help to develop and maintain the system that handle our product configurations and continuously released engine control software releases.
What am I going to do?
We are looking for a talented student assistant to join our “Dual Fuel Engine Control” department and support the development of new software releases for our engine control system. You will be developing supporting tools in C++ and python, that enable a successful rollout of new software releases along with supporting and efficient development by assisting control engineers in the development of our engine control system.
How is my new team?
We are working in SCRUM teams of 4-8 developers, following the agile principles. It is a requirement that our systems and software applications are designed and implemented with great focus on reliability, on-time delivery, lifespan and user friendliness. We are a team with good unity, where the daily life is characterized by an informal atmosphere and a pleasant social work environment. You will work in close cooperation with skilled and motivated colleagues who are passionate about their job and are looking forward to learn from you – and of course also share their knowledge.
Who am I?
We imagine that you
- Have experience with and interest in programming – C++ and/or Python
- Are a student within a technical field – could be Physics, Mathematics, IT or Engineering
- Are social and would like to build a lasting relationship with colleagues in the department
