As a student assistant in chemical mechanism, you will join our Emission reduction technology department in Kgs. Lyngby and support our computational fluid dynamics (CFD) engineers.

Fuels of the future and Power-to-X research
Our department works with numerical and experimental flow optimisation for the international energy and environmental sector (amongst others), where we design, optimise, and verify flue gas cleaning systems and development of future fuels. Our student assistants are a key part of our daily work, and you will be responsible for your own tasks.

In supporting our CFD engineers, your key tasks will be:

  • Chemical reaction research related to Power-to-X and Carbon Capture
  • Writing reports
  • 3D CAD drawing and 2D construction drawing in SolidWorks
  • Ad hoc tasks

We can also offer you the opportunity to write your bachelor or master thesis in collaboration with the department.

Engineering student with CAD work experience
You are currently studying within a field of engineering and/or natural sciences and are at least 1 year into your studies. 

Additionally, you likely fit the following profile:

  • You have experience with CAD work, preferably in SolidWorks
  • You have a good understanding of chemical reaction rate mechanisms
  • You are co-operative, flexible, and want to do great work

The workload varies, but we expect you to be able to work at least one full day a week during busy periods. We are very flexible in relation to holidays and exam periods, and we expect you to show the same flexibil-ity in busy periods with high workload. Start date will be as soon as possible.
