We are looking for a new student professional to join our Office of Technology that drives technology transformation and internationalization in KMD.
About the team
KMD’s Office of Technology is responsible for collaborating with our Japanese owner NEC in bringing their technologies to our markets, bringing KMD products to international markets and to co-innovate on new solutions. The unit is responsible for driving new international market opportunities in close cooperation with product & sales teams in KMD and NEC colleagues around the world.
The Office of Technology (OoT) is a part of the Strategy, Technology and Communication unit at KMD, responsible for driving the overall future direction of KMD.
Your opportunities
This student position is about bridging business, technology, and innovation. You will be responsible for coordinating, supporting, and pursuing international sales opportunities.
You could be a business student with an interest in IT, or a technology student with interest in business development. No matter your background, coordination talent, technology curiosity and the ability to handle many different activities simultaneously are key.
We work in a professional, ambitious and busy environment where you as a student can expect to take on challenging tasks and deliver thorough results with real business impact. The team offers you a place in a company with a large body of young student professionals.
You will be part of our projects along with other team members and your tasks will focus on strategic business development.
Among other things, you will have the opportunity to:
- Support bringing specific NEC technologies to the Nordic market
- Support bringing KMD products out internationally together with NEC
- Collaborate with product teams to get their products out internationally
- Track and follow-up on specific pursuits
Specific tasks in the job may include:
- Driving specific pursuits and clarifications
- Tracking progress and doing follow-up on business development activities
- Coordinating meetings and workshops
- Updating pipeline and deals won
About you
You are currently studying your masters or the last year of a bachelor’s degree. We expect that you are among the best in your class. In addition, you may have some work experience.
- You are a strong organizer, and good at collaborating with others
- You have some understanding of IT technology and a desire to learn more
- You are a quick learner who can juggle many tasks at once
- You can quickly analyze a problem, break it down, and create a plan of attack
- You are curious, thrive in an informal, innovative environment, have a can-do attitude and independently take initiative
- You are fluent in Danish and English
Position details
We look for a candidate who can start in May. However, the structure, duration and timing are flexible for the right candidate.
- Start date: Start May 2021
- Working hours: Flexible (min. 15 hours a week)
