Do you wish to apply the learnings from your studies in a real world context? Can you imagine yourself learning the art of business development in the pharmaceutical industry? Would you like to be part of a fun and fast-paced team? Then we have the perfect opportunity for you!

About the job
We are looking for a new Student Assistant to support our team 10-15 hours a week. We offer an opportunity to join a fast-paced environment with focus on collaboration between departments to ensure we meet the new 2025 strategy of the company.

In this role, your responsibility will grow over time as you will be exposed to a variety of tasks and challenges. Initially you will be responsible for maintaining the systems and tools that we use in our daily work. You will also be exposed to tasks such as: Market Screening, Project Management, Market Analyses and Market Access Support.

We offer you an opportunity to work in attractive working conditions with great options for both personal and professional development – and hopefully a lot of fun on the way.

Who are you?
We are looking for a student with a commercial interest studying at university. You are at least about to finish the 1st year of your studies and you have at least 2 years left. Further, you have shown strong academic results. Your educational background will complement our current Student Assistants who have other educational backgrounds. We imagine you have an interest in the pharmaceutical industry and have a natural business acumen.

We imagine that you are:

  • Genuinely interested in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry
  • Willing to work approximately 2 days a week, obviously with flexibility around exam periods
  • An experienced user of the Microsoft Office package – preferably with some experience in Microsoft’s Power Platforms
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Structured and detail-oriented
  • Willing to contribute to a fun and transparent working environment where everyone’s opinion matters

You will be joining a multinational team where we consider diversity of backgrounds and skillset a strength. Orifarm’s operation is expanding into new territories, so cultural sensitivity and understanding are required to succeed in this role.

Who are we?
In-licensing is part of Orifarm Healthcare’s Business Development department – a rapidly growing function responsible for building the pipeline for future growth of the company. In In-licensing we constantly look for external opportunities to support the ambitions of the group and to strategically develop our function to become the preferred partner in our markets for suppliers, CMOs & pharmaceutical developers.

Our team currently consists of 10 full time employees and 4 Student Assistants, covering all parts of the licensing process – from idea to contract. We work in close collaboration with many other functions from Regulatory Affairs to Sales & Marketing to ensure that new products get to market as quickly as possible.

You will be part of a busy work environment working with people dedicated to improving the well being of patients and minimizing expenses for the payers. We work in a result oriented manner, which at times requires a high level of expertise and dedication – and at other times a more flexible approach to tasks and challenges.

About Orifarm

In Orifarm, we aim to bring healthy days by making modern healthcare a better deal for the people and the societies we serve. Working towards our vision, we create access to affordable high-quality pharmaceuticals and healthcare products by challenging markets and always seeking new opportunities.
