Student Assistant for Architecture and Technology Team

In 3Shape, hundreds of developers work every day on cutting edge 3D scanners and CAD/CAM software for the dental industry. Our products help dentists all over the world to provide optimal treatment for their patients.

The Architecture and Technology team consists of software experts from across 3Shape that work together to keep our code base scalable, investigate new solutions and technologies, and ensure that we continue to improve our development culture.

We are looking for a clever and enterprising student assistant to help with tooling, scripting and other solutions related to our daily development, build, and release processes.

Your profile

• Programming is your hobby
• Your preferred programming language is “the one that suits the task”
• You are self-reliant and routinely use the web to understand new technologies and solve problems
• You prefer to write a script instead of repeating the same task 3 times
• You are currently on the 3rd year of your Bachelor’s or have recently started your Master’s within computer science or engineering

A few examples of concrete tasks could be:

• Auto generate overview of company NuGet packages and dependencies
• Customized code search across projects in git
• Investigate/implement architecture diagram plugins for Confluence.
• Automated test of company products on pre-releases of windows.
• Tool for evaluating and approving license models for third party software.
