Student Assistant - Grundfos Service & Solutions

In Grundfos Service and Solutions, we are looking for a student assistant to support in building and strengthening our pricing practice within spare parts in close collaboration with our ‘Pricing and Commercial Development Manager’.
You will join a department with approximately 50 colleagues at global level, all working with defining the standards and tools for how to develop, sell and deliver services in our sales and service organizations globally. More specifically, you will be working in our ‘Strategy Execution’ team together with 10 colleagues driving various parts of our Service Strategy.
The office is located in Bjerringbro with direct train connection from Aarhus, but carpooling is also frequently used. Currently, there are five other student assistants working in Grundfos Service and Solutions, so we are used to having students working as an active part of the department.
Building and strengthening the spare part Pricing practice in Grundfos Service & Solutions
In this position, you will be assisting in making sure we have the optimal spare part prices maximizing the commercial impact. This includes working with:
- Pricing analysis of local country price levels and customer discount behavior
- Creating price models for specific spare part types to maximize commercial impact
- Reviews of spare part prices in specific product ranges based on market feedback
- Support the service leadership and regional management with deep-dive analysis of commercial performance
We expect you are interested and willing to learn new skills as the majority of areas you will be working in are rarely taught at school.
Student confident in large data analysis in Excel with +1.5 years left of the studies
You are studying a degree in business administration, finance, strategy, economics or engineering with at least 1.5 year left of your program. It is important that you are confident in how to structure and analyze complex data and are used to working in Excel. Moreover, you are not afraid of challenging yourself and you can quickly acquire new knowledge and convert into practice. Lastly, it is a requirement that you can speak and write English fluently and that you are willing to work 1-2 full days a week at our Bjerringbro office.
