We are currently looking for a skilled Structural Engineer to join our structural design team working on the design and verification of our future floating foundations for offshore wind.
About the job
You will be working on assuring the structural integrity of the next generation of our floating foundation, where you will be an integral part of the structural design team during all phases from concept development to manufacturing and certification of full-scale prototypes.
Your primary tasks will be:
- Structural design of cast- and welded steel components
- Finite element analysis of foundation steel structure and accessories using ANSYS
- Analytical verification of buckling and fatigue acc. to Eurocode and DNVGL standards
As Structural Engineer, you will join the Primary Structures team, working closely with experienced team members.
Your profile
Ideally you have 2-5 years of experience working in structural teams, preferably within the wind industry, offshore sector, or other relevant areas. Experience with modeling and analysis of welded and casted steel structures subjected to dynamic loading is an advantage.
We expect you to approach your work with enthusiasm and to be self-driven, passionate, committed, and pro-actively solution oriented. It is natural for you to take on responsibility, and you are confident in the role of ensuring quality in large and complex projects. You perform well in the dynamic environment of a start-up organization.
