Join us as our new Strategic Logistics Developer
You will play a key role in designing the future processes and solutions related to logistics including our distribution network, optimising our logistics cost, improving our delivery performance, automating processes and interfaces with logistics suppliers, etc. In this role you will manage and lead your own portfolio of projects and you will continuously be looking to find further improvements and optimisation opportunities.

You will join our Global Logistics team, being one of several global teams, shaping Supply Chain Development. In Supply Chain Development we are responsible for driving our global supply chain services and processes. Our aim is to develop solutions which support both the commercial growth agenda as well as end-to-end efficiency. We ensure engagement with our global stakeholders and we translate business requirements and improvement opportunities into sustainable solutions.
In this role you will make an impact by
Managing your project portfolio with a firm hand and successfully plan and lead logistics projects that can include several organisational functions, including our IT Department and Digital Transformation teams, as well as external partners. You will communicate timely and clearly on project developments and you deliver project results also under time pressure.
Applying your experience and analytical skills to identify optimisation opportunities and efficiencies in cooperation with our global logistics community, as well as with internal and external stakeholders. You can communicate complex logistics and supply chain solutions in an easy-to-understand way to all levels of the organisation and you are prepared to recommend and ague for the right solution between multiple options.
And impacting the way we operate with logistics and our Supply Chain in general by engaging yourself in understanding and challenging other projects and initiatives within our Supply Chain or other functions in Novozymes.
To succeed in this role, you must have
- An MSc level education, could be within Supply Chain Management or Logistics,
- 5-10 years project management experience as project lead, including experience with projects having multiple stakeholders and/or with an international scope,
- Strong analytical skills being able to create data insight to support decision making and define optimization opportunities
- Experience working in international teams
- Strong communication skills in English – and preferably in Danish.
- Knowledge of logistics processes and terminology will be an advantage
- Experience leading sourcing projects will be an advantage
- Proficiency using MS Office applications and preferably with experience using and extracting data from SAP
