Specialist/senior specialist for material and catalysis development

Danish Technological Institute in Taastrup is searching for a new colleague who wants to be at the edge of innovation and bring beyond state-of-the art nanomaterials and catalysts to the European industry. You will be a key player in developing and driving our technologies within nanomaterials, (electro)catalysis and power-to-x applications.

Danish Technological Institute will be leading a European consortium, starting April 2020, aimed at developing new sustainable materials for PEM electrolysis. You will have a role in developing catalysts and nanomaterials using our state-of-the-art nanomaterial reactors. Your main areas of responsibility will include:

• Nanomaterial development
• Catalyst characterisation
• Pilot production of nanomaterials
• Reactor development
• Partner communication

You will get a challenging job in a varied and diverse environment where you will be part of the catalysis team. You will work with engineers and chemists across the entire value chain from materials to application in both government-funded and direct industrial commercial projects.

Experience within electrocatalysis
You have a master’s degree, perhaps also a Ph.D. in electrochemistry. You have experience within materials development, materials analysis, catalysis, ink formulation and deposition. You enjoy developing new ideas and initiatives, both individually and in teams.  

Nano Production and Micro Analysis
You will join a team of 30 people in Nano Production and Micro Analysis who work on projects within energy systems, catalysis and printed electronics. Additionally, we solve characterization and analytical tasks for commercial customers.

We are an international team of primarily chemists, physicists and engineers and we collaborate with both industry and academia. We value professional competences and social interaction.
