INVISIO develops and markets advanced audio communication and hearing protection systems to military and law enforcement users worldwide. These are highly advanced products. To set up and manage these products throughout development, manufacturing and in the market, they are supported by several PC applications which are continuously developed and expanded.
As a Test Engineer you will work in our R&D group close to the SW developers and will be in control of the test environment – building, maintaining and running SW test systems. These applications become more important as the complexity of our systems and the software increases. It is therefore essential that defects are found before a release leaves the company.
The philosophy is to test at the seams. There are several of these between HW and FW, frontend and backend and between UI and the rest.
This is a new activity and, in this position, you will have a central role in making this a success.
- Build Integration tests for the portfolio of apps. Currently three clients.
- Build tests for SW towards HW. Many configurations must be covered.
- Build UI driven tests.
- Examination of current test coverage.
- Specify and perform manual tests prior to release.
- Enhancement of regression test principle. Identified bugs should produce more unit tests to eliminate the situation for future releases.
Skills & Competences
As we use Microsoft tools throughout the development cycle, and unit tests are made with Visual Studio, it is important that you are familiar with using these.
You are independent and self-driven, driving your work from start to finish. You are thorough and detail oriented and have excellent English skills.
For further information about the position, please contact Senior SW Engineer Michael Tagmose at +45 20862242 or send your application and CV to HR Manager Anja Pelby at firstname.lastname@example.org marked “Test Engineer, Student” as soon as possible and before October 31, 2021.
