You have a technical university education supplemented with relevant certifications, e.g. ISTQB Test Manager or Test Automation, and a solid experience from user centric software and integration testing, you are used to establish test strategies, to ensure a good and well-structured base of test cases, to execute and document test result, and to drive root cause investigation of bugs. You’d still like to utilize your test domain expertise – and we will for sure need that at BLUETOWN – but you are ready to step outside your comfort zone and take your next career step towards delivery and project management because you have the interest and believe you have the personality traits required to succeed in this area.

As a person, you like the thought of joining a company that’s on the verge of shifting from start-up to scale-up. You’re known for taking responsibility, ownership and getting things done – and you do it yourself if there’s no one else to do it. You’re up for the challenge of being BLUETOWN’s test domain expert, you acknowledge that a company needs process and automation to successfully scale, and you can both set that up and enforce it. You have previously been working with distributed or remote teams and understand how to navigate and succeed in a virtual team setting.

BLUETOWN offers a great opportunity for being part of a small R&D unit of ‘brains’ that’s soon to be supplemented with more ‘implementation muscles’ in low-cost regions, mainly within Europe. We are collaborating with technology domain experts across the globe, and our focus is on DevOps, CI/CD, microservices, Kubernetes, cloud application backends and edge hosted, locally accessible services. As we onboard more R&D-partners we will need software integration testing, coordination and project management to align external and internal deliverables into a strong, reliable R&D solution release pipeline – and that could be your scope of responsibility.

The working location will be BLUETOWN headquarters in Copenhagen. Travel time will be maximum 30 days per year, mainly in Eastern Europe and developing parts of the World.
