As part of a brand-new department, with a strong focus on IT service processes and quality, in GN’s Global IT organization you are expected to impact how your position will function and how GN will manage software licensing going forward.

To support our continuous growth, we are replacing and modernizing several critical IT platforms and we are restructuring our global IT department to become more agile. In this transformation, we have established your new team.

When you enter the brand-new IT service management and quality team, we are welcoming you as part of a team, that help make the entire company tick.

“This is where we ensure effectiveness and quality throughout our global IT department by providing deep IT- and process knowledge of our shared services and deliveries,” says Kenneth Petersen, Senior Manager IT Service Management & Quality.

Your role is managing the lifecycle of software licenses in cooperation with colleagues and vendors. In a company of our size, you are going to have a huge impact on our total software expenses e.g., by creating automatic license monitoring processes and securing compliance between license and use of the software.

Also, you:

• Support procurement in purchasing software products
• Advise Group IT on licensing issues
• Make sure CMDB is up to date
• Clarify software product license terms & conditions and perform risk assessment

You are a creator of structures and processes
In our transition we strive to be even more agile. Your ability to create relations and listen to our software users within the company is one of your biggest criteria of success. When you asses the needs of your colleagues you really understand how to plan and get in control of software usage and licensing to the benefit of the enterprise.

You want to create something new; you want to develop yourself, your colleagues and the way we do things.  Maybe you even think commercially or have a commercial background.

Besides that, you hold:

• 3-5 years of experience as a software- or asset manager
• Work experience with one or more SAM vendors
• Experience in establishing policies, processes, and responsibilities
