Do you want major impact and responsibility from design to implementation?

If your professional interest covers object-oriented and parallel programming, and you are looking for a job where your personal development goes hand in hand with your impact, you have found the perfect match. At Weibel you work with state-of-the-art technology and contribute to the further development of the best radar systems in the world - together with very skilled and dedicated colleagues. Your code e.g. helps NASA to launch satellites or in surveillance to keep peace.

Design, development, implementation, configuration…
Basically, your job is to push the limits of what is possible in our efforts to make even better, smarter and high performing radar systems. You typically work in groups of 2-4 developers while specifying the solutions. The following design and implementation you handle independently - naturally with dialogue and back up from your more experienced colleagues. You will especially be involved in optimizing the user interface of the systems. Your primary tasks covers:

  • Design and development of new features in existing products
  • 2D / 3D visualization - real-time and in subsequent presentation of data
  • Optimize existing products based on new technologies
  • Intelligent and adaptive system configuration
  • Processing of large data sets
  • Development of tools and applications for visualization of surveillance and aircraft data
  • Support related to existing products
  • Implementation of test procedures

You can look forward to be part of a company that is founded on true passion for technology. We have the history, will, economical foundation and patience to aim for the stars in everything we do.

Interest within object-oriented and parallel programming
You have a software related education at minimum B.Sc. level. You must take interest in working with object-oriented and parallel programming, and if you do not already know C++ you are motivated to learn it.

You can be newly graduated or more experienced. Regardless of your experience, we will match your profile with just the right challenges to ensure your on-going development. We will also provide you with a thorough introduction in order to bring you up to speed in the basic methods and techniques related to development of complex radar systems.

On the personal level, you thrive on working in teams just as much as you like to handle tasks independently. Related to this you must be able to keep track of all details. Additionally, you like to bring your solutions all the way to the end users, and you have the skills to see a solution from their side of the table. Finally, you must have a solid command of English, written and spoken.

Your new department
You will join the R&D department counting approx. 35 Engineers and Developers. The Software teams count +10 Developers with more to come. We are all situated in the same open office space at the Weibel headquarters in Allerød north of Copenhagen. An open dialogue, helpfulness and a common will to move things forward characterize our environment.
