What this is all about
Oticon is a growing, international company, which improves the life quality of people with a hearing disability. You will be working from our headquarters in Smørum close to Copenhagen, where we worship an informal work environment. You will join our international team of 200+ employees in our Software Solutions Group, located across Denmark and Poland. Here, you will be part of our feature team, we develop and maintain the presentation, application and business logic tier of a complex .NET application running on windows machines all around the world. An application that is increasingly integrating towards the cloud and moving towards utilizing machine learning technologies.

Joining our team, you will face a great opportunity to work on a new platform to support our most modern and complex hearing instruments. In this challenging position, your tasks and responsibilities consist of developing and implementing high quality software. You will be involved in the whole process from requirement specifications, design and implementation to final test and documentation. Our software is a Windows desktop application created in C#/.NET. The software enables the hearing aid professionals to program the hearing instruments and present our advanced features in the most optimal way. We work with the latest technologies and development methodologies, on state of the art equipment.

We believe in challenging tasks and a good work life balance
You hold a BSc or MSc degree within Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. You have some years of relevant work experience and can tick off the following items:

• You are a C#/.NET developer with solid programming experience.
• You thrive in a multisite, cross-cultural organization.
• You have a broad knowledge about Microsoft ecosystem and products like Visual Studio, Extensibility Framework, LINQ and XAML.
• You understand software services and lifecycle processes and strive to ensure constant care for architecture, code base and documentation.
• It is a plus if you have experience with GIT
• And most important: You take pride in your craftsmanship.
   

You enjoy working with several stakeholders and collaborating closely with your team colleagues. You are a generalist, self-driven and ask into things, challenging solutions and ideas. All in all, you are a team player, comfortable with seeking the optimal solution through a constructive dialogue with others.
